Our Heritage
A Grand Home with a Lasting Legacy
Built in 1935 as a grand family home, Little Silver was transformed during the 1980s and has evolved into one of Kent’s most beloved country hotels. All three pairs of previous owners have continued to preserve the hotel’s character, enhanced it with modern amenities and bought in their own thoughtful touches. Terry Haigh, the new owner, took over the hotel in September 2025 and is committed to preserving the building’s heritage while continuing its proud legacy as a leading hotel and events venue.

Had a lovely overnight night stay with breakfast. In Tenterden. Love the old looking builder not spoilt with adding modern add ons. Parking to the back leading to a lovely garden and patio area. Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Would stay again.

Lovely stay at this smashing little country hotel , staff were lovely , especially Lauren who looked after us most of the time.Nice breakfast ,part of a package with the wine tasting trip at chapel down, had a really lovely time , would recommend .

Food is Absolutely first class but above all every member of staff are so polite and helpful as well as very friendly. This Beautiful family owned hotel is one of the best.
